Panorex
Clear, detailed imaging helps us understand your oral health more fully. Panorex gives our team a complete view of your mouth, jaw, and surrounding structures, allowing us to see what’s happening beneath the surface and provide care that’s accurate and informed.

What Is a Panorex X-Ray?
A Panorex X-ray is a specialized type of dental imaging that captures your entire mouth and jaw in one sweeping, panoramic picture. Instead of taking several small images, the Panorex gives us a full 360-degree view of your teeth, jaw joints, sinuses, and facial bones.
During the scan, you’ll sit or stand with your chin gently resting on a small ledge. Once you’re positioned, the machine rotates smoothly around your head. Nothing goes in your mouth, and the process takes only a few seconds.
When Is a Panorex X-Ray Necessary?
Dentists rely on Panorex imaging to evaluate wisdom teeth, plan extractions or dental implants, and monitor jaw development. It also allows us to spot infections, bone changes, structural concerns, or issues that may not appear on standard X-rays.
Whenever a broad, clear picture of your oral structures is important, a Panorex gives us the information we need.
Is a Panorex X-Ray Safe?
A Panorex X-ray uses a very low level of radiation and is considered safe for both adults and children. We follow strict safety protocols and provide protective gear as needed to ensure your comfort and well-being.
